Do You Know the Identity of This Man?

Don’t be worried if you don’t get it right off. Many people have absolutely no idea. Look closely. We will give you a few seconds.

5…4…(notice the halo)…3…( and the long hair)…2…(imagine the Jeopardy theme, that helps) ………1… beeeeep! Ok. Times up. What is your guess?  Who is this man?

What? Did you say Jesus?  Who said Jesus? If you said this man was Jesus then you’ve been had. Actually, we have no idea who this is in these pictures but we are sure it’s not the Messiah of Israel. Our best guess is King Phillip, the Duke of Chutney or Earl of something.  I guess to be fair, the odds are not completely impossible. This guy’s name could be Jesus. After all, its a pretty common name in Spain and Mexico.

Ok, ok.  Put down your “I’m offended” sword. There is a point and yes we love “Jesus”. The problem is with those who follow this “Jesus”. The majority know neither who He is or what He stood for, (let alone what He looked like) yet they identify themselves with Him. I think its time to examine the way we think and what we think and try to line it up with the revealed truth in scripture. We are not immune to error and “Jesus” people are full of it. (error I mean)

So stick around with us. Hang out, comment, learn something, and teach something. We are on a journey to find truth and we need company.
